Brooke Bond was a tea company founded by Arthur Brooke in 1845.
In 1930 the brand PG Tips was launched.
1968 the company merged with Liebig: the merged company was absorbed into Unilever in 1984.
The company was well known for produing series of illustrated tea cards, production of which ceased in 1999 - which are still collected as a hobby.
